I am planning on possibly starting a 4e campaign. So let me know if you are interested and what you would like to see in it.

I may try this one on Saturday nights instead of Fridays, but I am going to be flexible right now.

Does anyone know what class they want to play on the 28th?

So far I have only heard that El wants to play an Eladrin Wizard.

People can play anything they want so long as the 4 roles are covered, and there are no more than 6 characters.

James, if there are too many players I will be asking you to run bad guys.

don't get too locked into a class before the 28th.
I would like to do this as a group so everyone can talk and the people who are not reading this board or their email don't get the short end of the stick.

every class is cool and can do neat things so if you don't get to be your first choice you will probably still have fun.

Potential players so far:
Penny and Connor
Steve
El
Jason and Mako
Chris and Dakota
Michelle
Chuck (my neighbor from across the street who is excited to join us.)
James

I also didn't intend for the adventure on the 28th to be the starting point for a campaign although that would be possible.

So, if I were to start an actual 4e campaign, what do people want from it. I can easily go the published adventure route starting with keep on the shadowfell, or we can do something else.

I am currently formulating a few different ideas for a 4E campaign. The first is a published adventure campaign using the adventures that WotC is printing. The second is based around a small town on the edge of a vast unexplored wilderness. The third and most complex would be a big story arc kinda campaign.

right now my campaign idea basically consists of "here is a big unexplored wilderness....go!"

I have a setting forming, but no overarching story.

Penny is interested in a Ranger, and Connor is pretty set on a Dragonborn Fighter. Penny has said she will share with Connor if we have too many people though.

I think I would be ok with any role.

Fighter, ranger, cleric, and warlock look interesting.
