June 21st is free rpg day. come down to hastur hobbies to score some schwag and maybe play a game. I will again be running DnD4e for people starting at 10AM.

We had it rough. Back when I started gaming, we had to roll 21 on a D20 to hit, Magic Missile did 2-5 damage to the caster and the undead could turn our clerics. Players weren't even allowed to use the bathroom until their character was 3rd level.

the adventure is for second level characters with 1 2nd level magic item and 1 first level magic item and 20gp. I have pre-generated characters but they are not required.

it is significantly longer than the worldwide game day adventure. I suspect I will only get to run one group through it.

the WotC stuff went fast. I scored a bunch of stuff.

the game went well. Some guys at the table next to us were playing 2nd edition and claimed to be playing "real" dungeons and dragons. I let them have their opinion and neglected to point out which table had the attractive woman sitting at it.
