Since I plan on running Curse of the Crimson Throne as my next DnD adventure/campaign I thought I would post some initial thoughts.
XPs for this campaign will be earned differently. I Plan on giving out set rewards when certain milestones are reached in the campaign rather than giving them out for combat and such as we have been doing in Rise of the Runelords. This will allow me to control the rate of advancement and possibly add in side adventures and such without worrying about calculating Xps. I may also allow some bonus xps to be earned from time to time for various things.
A cleric will again be useful, healers always are. A paladin will also be useful. The first third of the campaign takes place in an urban environment so rogues and bards will also work well.
I'll post more thought as they occur to me. |

this is still a aways off. We still have two sections of Rise of the Runelords to finish.
You are welcome to play if you want since you are now part of this group.
I would love to add everyone who wants to play, but I will have to restrict it to 6 players for space and ability to manage the game reasons. I am assuming the 6 people who are currently playing will want to continue playing, but I really haven't asked. |
