Las Vegas pretty much sucks. (especiially on NASCAR weekend)

there are too many people, and too much traffic. it is impossible to get anywhere, especially if Las Vegas Blvd. (The Strip) is between where you are and where you want to be.

Don't take the family down the strip either, unless you enjoy explaining to your kids why they shouldn't look att he sidewalk, or take anything people are handing out, or even look at the magazine vending machines.

even gambling can be done elsewhere. it is just as easy to throw your money away in wendover or mesquite without having to deal with the crowds and such. (Or if you want to get rid of money come give it to me, the end result is the same)

The shows are really expensive as well.

Yeah. Vegas is nice if you have plenty of time and no kids. The last time I went was about 7 years ago, and Donny's parents paid for our room and food. They might have even paid for us to elope...
